This amazing little bundle of joy was born in March 2022.

Not a planned addition, she was conceived when a wild bull elephant came into the sanctuary and ran away with Pearl for 2 weeks. Having one baby in captivity, with an aging captive population is going to do little for conservation of the species, but we are committed to now caring for her and letting he live a natural elephant life as much as we can.
