Meet Doe and Darling – two deeply bonded elephant “soul sisters” in their 50s and 60s, who’ve spent a lifetime working in the forests of Cambodia. For the past few years, they’ve been resting and healing at the Elephant Valley Project sanctuary. But now, their future is under threat.
Unless we can raise $60,000 by early 2026, they risk being taken away and sold into exploitative tourism or urban captivity. Help us secure their permanent freedom – together, we can give them the lifelong home they deserve.

As we come to the end of an unforgettable year, we have some amazing news. Together we have raised the full amount needed to rescue Doe!!!!
Thank you to every single person who donated, shared, visited, or believed in us and played a part in giving her a future of peace and freedom at EVP. We are now simply waiting for the final funds to clear in our bank before signing the official paperwork.
But our work is not finished. There is still one more elephant who still needs us – Darling.
Darling is one of the last community-owned elephants in a remote area of the province. Her life is becoming increasingly fragile as pressure grows on families to sell elephants to trekking camps and city tourism. In recent months, two more elephants have already been sold out of Mondulkiri, taken away from their home forests and their community. We cannot allow Darling to be next.
To secure her future at EVP, we must raise the final US $25,000 by March/April 2026.
And that is why this year’s Christmas Raffle, and especially Giving Tuesday (2-3rd Dec), is so important.
